Services
There are three ways to work together, depending on the kind of support you need.
Some projects require full involvement from start to finish. Others need guidance at key moments. Each option is structured to keep the process clear and focused, without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
Creative Direction (Advisory)
For clients who want clarity and direction, but plan to manage execution themselves.
This engagement works well for single rooms or contained scopes where the goal is to resolve layout, refine the aesthetic, and make decisions with confidence — without moving into full-service design or procurement.
What’s Included
One cohesive design direction
Furniture re-planning to improve flow and function
Guidance on key pieces: furniture, lighting, window treatments, art
A concise set of specifications and recommendations
One presentation and one round of revisions
Not Included
Procurement, vendor coordination, project management, on-site styling, or custom and trade-only furnishings.
Timeline
3–4 weeks
Investment
Fixed fee per room
Design Development
For clients renovating or building who want a strong design framework in place — and thoughtful oversight as the project moves forward.
This tier covers full design development across the agreed spaces, from layout refinement to material selections. Key construction milestones are reviewed to ensure the work on site reflects the original plan.
Includes
Full design development and space planning
Materials, finishes, lighting, and fixture selections
Design presentations and revisions
Coordination with contractor, architect, or drafter at key milestones
Limited construction-phase support
Timeline
Design phase: 8–10 weeks; coordination continues through construction
Investment
Fixed or hybrid fee based on project scope
Full-Service Design
For clients who want the entire process managed from start to finish.
This engagement covers concept, detailed design, coordination with contractors and vendors, procurement, and oversight through construction and installation. The goal is to carry the project through to completion without requiring day-to-day involvement from you.
Includes
Full design development across all spaces
Detailed specifications and schedules
Ongoing coordination with contractors and consultants
Construction-phase support and design oversight
Investment
Fixed fee aligned with project scale and complexity
Furnishings & Styling
This service is available as a standalone engagement or as a second phase following a renovation.
Ideal for clients who have completed construction — or who love their layout but want the house to feel resolved — this phase focuses on furniture planning, sourcing, procurement, delivery coordination, and final styling.
The goal is to bring cohesion and proportion to the rooms without altering the architecture.
A Note On Scope
Each engagement is designed to be complete as defined.
If the project evolves — as many do — we adjust by moving into a new phase rather than stretching the original agreement. This keeps the work focused and transparent.
How We Work Together
Every project begins with a conversation about scope, expectations, and how involved you’d like to be.
While each engagement is tailored, the process follows a clear structure. The steps below adjust slightly depending on the service tier.
-
We begin with a call to talk through your space, what you’re hoping to achieve, and how involved you’d like the process to be.
From there, we determine the most suitable service structure and next steps.
-
Following our call, I’ll suggest the service structure that best suits your project and provide a clear outline of scope, timeline, and investment.
Once the agreement is in place, we move into the kickoff phase.
-
Every project begins with a discovery phase.
This may include site visits, a review of existing plans, conversations about how you live, and time spent understanding the space itself. From there, I establish the overall direction — how the layout should function, how the rooms should relate to one another, and the material language that will guide the project.
For Creative Direction, this phase centers on concept development, layout refinement, and key decisions that allow you to move forward independently.
For Design Development and Full Service, it extends into more detailed planning, drawings, and coordination with the broader team.
-
For projects that move beyond advisory work, this stage includes detailed design development, material specifications, and coordination with contractors or consultants at key points during construction.
The extent of involvement depends on the selected service tier.
-
For Full Service projects, I remain involved through construction and installation, reviewing progress on site and ensuring the work aligns with the original plan through final styling.
For advisory-level engagements, clients manage execution independently once the design direction is established.
Timeline
Timelines vary by service tier and project scope:
Creative Direction: approximately 3–4 weeks
Design Direction: approximately 8–10 weeks for design development
Full-Service Design: typically 6–12 months from concept to completion
