Broadway Loft Expansion
Hollywood, CA — When the client acquired the adjacent 2,000-square-foot unit, we returned to combine both spaces into a single 3,500-square-foot home.
The expansion required reworking the layout so the two units felt continuous rather than appended. A new kitchen was designed, a second bedroom enclosed, and an additional walk-in closet added. The furnishing phase brought the enlarged home back into balance.
The challenge was not simply to make it bigger, but to make it coherent — ensuring the original proportions, materials, and atmosphere carried through as the footprint grew.
