Daniel K Palmer Salon

West Hollywood, CA — Full remodel of a 1,600-square-foot corner building, originally built as an auto shop in 1971. The space was transformed into a salon for celebrity hairstylist Daniel K Palmer.

The structure had strong industrial bones but needed to be reworked completely. The layout was redesigned to improve circulation and privacy. Custom millwork, layered lighting, and a restrained material palette brought warmth to what was once a raw shell.

The goal was to create a space that supports the pace of a working salon while feeling more like a private studio than a storefront. A place where clients can settle in, and where the work can happen without distraction.
